Holding Fast to the Words of Truth

The iron rod is one of the pivotal elements in Lehi's dream as recorded in 1 Nephi chapter 8. It represents the word of God, and those who held onto it tightly, eventually arrived at the Tree of Life.

Holding fast to the word of God is what will carry us through the mists of darkness, past raging waters of evil, and away from the large and spacious building.
